And in Europe, they are one of the oldest vegetables to be cultivated. Moreover, they are traditionally used in Celtic festivals as lanterns, like pumpkins for Halloweeen. In many countries, they are eaten. For example, In Russia, when Russian people cook borscht, they add turnips. Of course in Japan, Japanese people cook pickled turnips. Or when they cook miso soup, they sometimes add turnips. In Japan, the most cultivating prefecture is Chiba, and next is Saitama, and the third is Aomori. In Japan, there is the festival called thet festival of seven herbs. Hello, everyone!
Today, I'll show you the part of my book that I am interested in .The part is about food and social inequality. Apart from the general food supply, which can be disturbed by crop-failure or other natural or human disasters like wars, the problem of the distribution of food is at least as important. Plenty and want throught history have never been distributed equally within the population.
As we know there are people who have too much food and people who cannot eat anything and die. To solve this problem, I think people who can eat anything every day like us or people especially in developed countries should not import too much food from developing countries and wadste of food. And people who cannot eat enough food can become to eat more. What do you think about it?
See you again!
