Hello!
In conclusion, this book shows us that the relation of food to some of the key issues in sociological theory. The discipline of sociology is like a cake: it can be cut up in many different ways. Food and eating havev not until very recently generally merited a " sociology of " to themselves. Even now, the sociology of food and eating is hardly a very unified sub- discipline-if, indeed, it ought to become one.

Restaurant Evaluation
I went to a Chinese restaurant during the winter
vacation. This restaurant was near the station, so it was easy for people who
do not have cars to go. On the whole, I thought this restaurant was good soon
after I arrives at the restaurant. The restaurant was clean including floor or
dishes. And this restaurant was well lighted.
After I was seated, the server did not
bring water to me soon, so it was bad. But after about 5 minutes, the first
dish was served. After that dished were served every 10 minutes. During the
meals, I thought that a few Chinese servers were in a strict tone, so they were
bad. But other server worked well when I asked something. When I went to the
rest room, I realized it was clean, too. But on the bad point, there was only
one toilet paper that I could find. So if I finished using the rest of them,
the next person would be in trouble. After I came back to the table, a server
gave us many new dishes, so I could use new individual plates.
What I ate was sweet-and –sour pork,
hukahire soup, abalones, steamed meat dumplings, shouronnpou, fried rice, and peking
duck. All meals were very delicious and hot. What I was most impressed was that
a cook cut peking ducks in front of me. I thought that performance was very
good. On the other hand, what I was the least impressed was that uncooked
peking ducks were showed through the kitchen glass in front of elevators. So
they were a little grotesque.
Before I get on the elevator to go home,
the servers made a bow and said thank you in loud voice.
On the whole, I could eat dinner
comfortably. What this restaurant should correct is that some servers should
smile more and be more polite to customers.

Turnip
Today, I will talk about turnips. Do you like turnips? It is said that turnips'original country is Afghanistan. They were introduced into Japan in the 7th century from China. And in Europe, they are one of the oldest vegetables to be cultivated. Moreover, they are traditionally used in Celtic festivals as lanterns, like pumpkins for Halloweeen. In many countries, they are eaten. For example, In Russia, when Russian people cook borscht, they add turnips. Of course in Japan, Japanese people cook pickled turnips. Or when they cook miso soup, they sometimes add turnips. In Japan, the most cultivating prefecture is Chiba, and next is Saitama, and the third is Aomori. In Japan, there is the festival called thet festival of seven herbs. One of the herbs is turnips called suzuna.

Hello, everyone!
Today, I'll show you the part of my book that I am interested in .The part is about food and social inequality. Apart from the general food supply, which can be disturbed by crop-failure or other natural or human disasters like wars, the problem of the distribution of food is at least as important. Plenty and want throught history have never been distributed equally within the population.
As we know there are people who have too much food and people who cannot eat anything and die. To solve this problem, I think people who can eat anything every day like us or people especially in developed countries should not import too much food from developing countries and wadste of food. And people who cannot eat enough food can become to eat more. What do you think about it?
See you again!
